Sitka Blacktail deer on Kodiak Island, Alaska have a very good population. Their numbers fluctuate primarily depending on the severity of the winter, but they are prolific animals and can rebound quickly. Bucks can weigh 200 pounds and are fun and challenging to hunt. Kodiak Island has a long season that begins August 1 and goes until the end of the year. There is also a generous bag limit of three animals. Rates vary depending on the number of hunters in your group, but this is an economical and very enjoyable way to hunt Kodiak Island.

To reserve a slot for a hunt, a $2,000 non-refundable deposit is required. Six (6) months prior to the hunt start date, the balance must be brought to 50% of the total hunt price.
