Canadian Moose Rut Hunt 2022

During the rut our experienced guides bring you deep into the jungles of Moose country in the heart of Northern Alberta. You can expect to see every type of geography from the logged sections of oil-patch road, to the swampy low-grounds, the natural mineral licks, and the large open timber. Our guides are knowledgeable about the specifically targeted areas and take pride in our mastering of the skill of calling big rutting Bulls! The rut takes place from mid-September to mid-October. During your 6-day adventure, you will be fully accommodated in our comfortable wall-tent camp located deep in the hunting area. A remote camp is essential to minimize on daily travel time and maximize opportunity of catching up with your dream animal! Our guides will transport you and your fellow hunters throughout the hunting area by pick-up truck and often on ATV. The Moose rut is one of the most exciting and adrenaline infused hunts you will ever have, short of dangerous-game. As Moose go into rut they become a more vocal animal, the cows enter heat, the bulls become very territorial and respond to our calls with high aggression or defensive curiosity.
